Our platform provides visitor management, identity verification and access control services for offices, apartment buildings, hospitals, schools, business parks and other secure locations.

By using TIP, you acknowledge that your personal information will be processed in accordance with this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Use.

Where TIP processes personal information on behalf of a customer organisation, that organisation is generally the Data Controller and TIP acts as a Data Processor for the services we provide. In some situations, TIP may also act as a Data Controller, for example when managing user accounts, platform security or legal obligations.

Depending on how you use the platform, we may collect:

  • National ID or Passport number
  • Government-issued identification details

TIP does not sell identity information.

We never sell personal information.

8. International Processing

Some service providers may process information outside Kenya.

Where personal information is transferred internationally, TIP will take appropriate contractual and organisational measures to protect that information in accordance with applicable law.

9. Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary.

Retention periods depend on:

  • security requirements;
  • operational requirements.

Where information is no longer required, it will be securely deleted or anonymised.

TIP integrates with trusted third-party providers to deliver certain services, including:

  • Social sign-in (Google and Facebook Login)

Each provider processes only the information necessary to perform its services under contractual obligations.

Facebook Login

If you choose to sign in using Facebook Login, we receive only the information that you authorise Meta to share with us, such as your name, email address and profile picture. We use this information solely to authenticate your account and provide our services. We do not publish your Facebook information or access additional data without your permission.

Google Sign-In

If you choose to sign in using Google, we receive only the information that you authorise Google to share with us, such as your name, email address and profile picture. We use this information solely to authenticate your account and provide our services. We do not publish your Google information or access additional data without your permission.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.

Where changes are significant, we will notify users through the platform or by email where appropriate.
